Nov 30 we boarded our ship for Ft Lauderdale via the Panama Canal. Stopped in Hautulco Mexico, Puerto Quetzal Gaudamala, Puerto Corinto Nicgeragua, Puntarenas Costa Rica, then for a trip through the Canal. We got to the last lock and it broke! We were stuck for 3 hours...
To Cartagena Colombia and Aruba, Las t stop Ft Lauderdale. We landed yesterday and our friends picked us up in our car. 3 hour home and unpack. I'm taking a break now and have to get more laundry done and do Christmas stuff. Happy Holidays to you all.

Thanksgiving day

Thursday started off rainy and dreary but changed to dry and sunny by noon. We went to the San Diego Zoo and had a wonderful day. Today we do the military museums.

REALLY ready to leave San Francisco! I wish we weren't staying another night, but it was already planned. This place is far too busy, has too many one way streets, and is outrageously expensive. $38.00 for 2 oatmeal breakfasts, $5 for a glass of oj for an example. The GPS even got confused a number of times because of the high, close together buildings and narrow streets. We went to Alcatraz today and it was very interesting, nice boat ride to and from the island. We plan to leave for Monterey early in the morning. It should take 2 hours depending on traffic. Our time in Napa was wonderful, we had such a good time and it was beautiful.
